Since the input frequency is proportional to the power supply, it means that when the speed is reduced, the voltage is also reduced. After the voltage is reduced to a certain level, the electric motor cannot be supplied with the electric energy required to establish the rated magnetic field, so that the torque of the motor is significantly reduced.

In order to solve this problem, the frequency converter adopts the method of voltage compensation to help the motor establish the excitation magnetic field, so that the torque of the motor is improved to some extent.
